The Heart Rhythm Society’s Communities of Practice (COP) initiative brings together individuals in similar areas of practice or with common professional interests to network, share ideas, participate in development opportunities, and advance the Society’s mission. Several COPs will gather at Heart Rhythm 2016 and invites all attendees, both HRS members and nonmembers, to attend any of these special sessions to learn more and sign up to participate.
The Advanced Imaging Community of Practice, whose mission it is to focus on promoting collaboration between cardiologists, engineers, and imagers, will hold its inaugural meeting on Thursday from 1:30-3 p.m. in Room 3022, Moscone West. This session will highlight existing and exciting new advances in imaging and how to integrate these initiatives in daily practice.
The Allied Professional Community of Practice welcomes current and prospective members to a networking breakfast on Thursday from 7-8 a.m. in Room 120, Moscone South. Meet leaders and members while learning about the activities and opportunities available within the Community, including plans to develop regional educational opportunities for allied professionals beginning the fall.
The Emerging Leader Community of Practice welcomes fellows-in-training and early career electrophysiologists to two sessions to learn about the benefits of joining a professional community while gaining insights from both peers and established experts shaping a career in electrophysiology:

The Florida Region Community of Practice Interest Group is a statewide consortium of physicians and allied professionals committed to arrhythmia care. Get involved and offer your suggestions for the Society’s first regional Community of Practice that will focus on identifying solutions to the clinical practice and health policy issues that are unique to Florida. The group meets Thursday from 1:30-3 p.m. Room 2010, Moscone West.
